“The city is a gallery”: That’s the main idea of a great new initiative of the sport brand Adidas: Urban Art Guide. They mapped the interesting street art spots, graffiti, stencils and stickers present in Berlin. By use of Google maps you can find the locations of the different art pieces. By clicking on a pointer some background information about the artwork (artist, technique and artwork description) is displayed. You can also upload your own pictures to the gallery. The website offers a free iPhone application which you can use to take a guided tour through the urban art of Berlin. Other European cities will follow!
