Took me a while to post this, but three weeks back The Prodigy was in BXL and they brought along Enter Shikari. I had previously heard their albums, but I had never experienced them live. Well, this post-hardcore band bulldozered on through. A great opener for one of the better Prodigy gigs I have seen.

There really isn’t a genre to classify Enter Shikar in. Its what happens when happy hardcore meets metal and tends to make your ears bleed. Some call it nintendocore while others call it screamo. I call it a good old fashioned racket and was blown away to say the least.

Defintely a band to check if you feel like smashing someone’s face in with a smile on yours. Out.
