Got introduced to him through the connect and his debut ‘1999‘ mixtape has been stuck on repeat [download it like right now, don't hesitate] for a couple of days. Reminded us of DOOM, Ghostface, NAS, … Its got a certain je ne sais quoi sound/vibe and you hear its from Brooklyn.
Survival Tactics & Hardknock are the tracks that really got us nodding them heads and now we are hooked.
As you can imagine this 17 y.o. has generated a good deal of excitement over the past weeks & months due to his vibrant, vintage-sounding hip-hop. In the clip below he speaks about the origin of his Pro Era crew, how long he’s been rapping, how he balances school and a rap career, producers he’d like to work with, what he stands for and more.
