Hasselt Street Art Festival returns |

The Street Art & Graffiti Festival returns to Hasselt this summer. Throughout August you will be able to hear the rattling of spray cans around Hasselt as there are several activities scheduled.

Kick-off is this Friday the 10th of August as Art In The Streets #2 will be opening at the Alley Gallery in the Dorpsstraat. Show consists of 10 Graffiti/Street Artists from Limburg (AMATIC, B-ART, EM, FRAME FAMILY, KOPIJ, MELVIN, MR. CRITICAL, POINTDEXTR, POLAK & UCON) who will be showing their work at Alley throughout the remainder of summer (11.08 – 26.08)!

The following weekend the Street Art Festival really kicks of at Pukkelpop with the Bunker’s deluxe (TRASH-ID) @ Petit Bazar. 15 Street Artists (Rutger Termohlen, Nanne Meulendijks, Stain en Nyse, Ucon, B-Art, Amatic, Bue The Warrior, Pest, Chas, Mr. Critical, Shive, Arko, Linez, Benjamin Van Geem) will transform 20 dustbins.

The Street Art Festival itself, which will take place throughout the weekend of 24-26 august up and around Hasselt, finishes it off. After a visit of Roa to the city the festival returns with some of the greatest artists around and the biggest walls we could imagine this promises to be a great follow-up for last year’s event. Looking forward to this after last year’s experiences.
