Not buying it 0

Started off the year with a couple of resolutions. Usually don’t set any goals but something to aim for can’t do any harm and for now they stand. One goal we did not mention is buying less and with buying less we really mean not buying the unnecessary stuff we often do. Reckon we have [...]

Food for Thought 0

Food for thought. The daily ponderings about everything and nothing. Here goes… What’s up with some people’s endless facebook fever. Will it ever end? That uncontrollable urge to check facebook every time one comes in contact with a computer. I do it myself, need to stop it. Btw, what’s up with facebook messages?! An old fashioned [...]

Zillertal Arena 0

Countdown. Five weeks to go till we hit the slopes in Austria. No French snow this year as some thought it was time for a change. A Hütte in Hochkrimml, the Zillertal Arena our slopes to roam. Curious to see how busy the lifts/slopes will be and what the Austrian gemütlichkeit will have to offer us.

Resolution 13.1 0

2013 >> TIME FOR SOME RESOLUTIONS. Need to start moving more. Seriously, this might be the biggest resolution cliché but need to work on this as I spend a large amount of time sitting down. Need to blog more on a regular basis. Anything. Everything. Need to dig into the music vaults. Been working on [...]

Did some good travelling overall: French Alps, Malta, London, [...]

Knowledge is Power, Moustache is King #MOVEMBER 0

Movember is coming. Time to register and show your support in a way you find fit. We know we will. Movember embraces the mustache to fight cancer. For those unfamiliar with the cause, one month after numerous brands and organizations went pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, a number of men start growing [...]

Bacon & eggs 0

Tomorrow is International Egg Day, a day to help raise awareness of the benefits of eggs. As happens, I might just be the world’s largest egg consumer. I can eat eggs with almost anything, I love eggs scrambled, poached  boiled, fried, … I love them so much I once actually cooked an ostrich egg. Yes, an ostrich egg [...]

Soundtrack to Autumn 0

Since we started to intensively use spotify a while back we’ve collected a wide range of playlists. As autumn is in the air we thought it was about time for a new playlist and as happens with such lists, we reckon this one might be stuck on shuffle/repeat for the next couple of weeks. For those [...]

Welcome Home: Malta 0

“Home is probably one of the most powerful words in our vernacular. Particularly if you’re an islander. Small islands need to be abandoned for a while if we want to appreciate them. In my case, it took about ten years. These days, it’s more like two weeks to start missing ‘stuff’.” Could not agree more as [...]

International Bacon Day 0

A day dedicated to the world’s best salty, savory, and crunchy version of the other white meat? This Saturday you say?! Yes Baconistas, there truly is a day dedicated to our beloved pork treat. Oh bacon, how we love thee and according to Wikipedia we have devoted an entire day to celebrate your scrumptious existence. Well, [...]
